Just completed is the Wildwood Stool! A magical meeting of textile and furniture design. The stool has been re-imagined by Carol for a project launching in the New Year for Jay - the resident upholsterer for the BBC's Money for Nothing . |

Izzy Rose Williamson is printmaker/designer based in Sheffield. The original design for the fabric is a linocut which she cuts the image with a knife into a board which is then inked for printing. 'It is the largest linocut I have ever produced (A1 in size), and later became my textile design 'Wildwood' for @cocoonhome. Each print takes around 40 minutes to ink up and hand burnish (along with the weeks and weeks of carving!). I even do a little jolly dance on top to get a decent print! Cocoon Home launched in September 2017 at Decorex International. Run by Angela Constantinou,(on the left and Izzy on the right) , Cocoon Home began its life with ten new textiles designs, with each artist producing work that is distinctive from the other. Wildwood is printed to order in Lancashire on either a linen/cotton mix or cotton satin base, supporting British manufacture and minimising the ecological footprint. It comes in 3 colourways and retails at £60 a metre. But take advantage of a 20% discount here. |

The stool, originally designed by Michael Sodeau , will take part in a charitable auction with Jay in the New Year so watch this space. We are giving our money to Sayes Court home of the shortlisted Tree of the Year - John Evelyn's Mulberry Tree below. |
